Support my education into women’s health
Hello, my name is Ming, I am a 19 year old attending college and studying Biology and Chinese. I plan on becoming an OB/GYN to improve healthcare women in third world countries. After seeing the struggle many women go through in these countries. I know that Women care for and raise a generation of children, I want to help them, so they can continue to upbuild future generations.
Unfortunately, I grew up with parents who abused me, mentally and emotionally.
My self worth was based on my grades and my weight. I thought I could handle everything once I moved to college. However, my roommate lied to my parents about things about me that were untrue (and very sinful in our religion) and my parents didn’t believe me, which amplified the abuse.
Because of this, I am extremely uncomfortable with staying with my parents so I need to move out. I can’t afford tuition and medical costs on my own. This is a dream I’ve always had and what has kept me going all this time.
